A book on Iranian animation 'Holy Cast' published for teens and young adults.
Following the screening of the animation in Iranian cinemas, the cultural officials tried to make 'Holy Cast' have a constant effect on teens by publishing a book on it.
The book is produced with augmented reality technology that makes the pictures move when the user keeps the phone camera on them.
A production of the Owj Arts and Media Organization, the animated film depicts a story from the Holy Quran. It is about a group of people who were thrown into a ditch and set a fire because of their strong belief in Allah.
The animation has so far bagged dozens of international and domestic awards and accolades from different festivals in New York, Madrid, Hollywood, India’s Jaipur, Romania, London, and Iran’s Fajr Film Festival.
The animated film also won the Special Jury award at the 30th International Film Festival for Children and Youth in historic Iranian city of Isfahan.
Some famous Iranian voice-actors, including Changiz Jalilvand, Khosro Khosroshahi, Bahram Zand, Nasrollah Medqalchi and Akbar Mannani, led by Maryam Shirzad, lent their voices to the animation.
